So I'm practising painting in photoshop, and without my usual inked lineart as well, which makes it much harder I think. Still not very happy with this so I would love to hear what you think on how I could improve :)

The look of this image to me is like that of an extension of the previous tarot dragon image. Now this dragon has richness of color and just something a bit more wow to it. I like the fact you added snow, and the style how be it different it looks impressive as an attempt new way of drawing. I like the way the snow acts as like a mist to color the castle in the distance, and another dragons silhouette, I see this as a nice work, and a way to improve upon so well done. :)

It's still so much better than anything I could do that I'm afraid I'm no use at all in offering comments about anything to improve. :dummy: I love how you did the dragon's skin, how it suggests scales without being so totally covered in them that it can get distracting. I love also the falling snow, and the shadowy castle in the background.

Thank you, glad you like the scales, they're inspired by *sandaras way of doing scales :)

And thank you for pointing me in *sandara's direction - her gallery is amazing! :la:

Practice makes perfect they say, though I think life is just a big learning process :) How long time did it take to draw this?

The dragon looks really good but something I think is missing is the fog from the dragons breath and snowflakes in front of the dragon. I think it would give the drawing more depth :) Lovely castle in the background!

Thank you, never thought of the fog of the breath! Really good point, I must make another dragon in snow and do that :)

This took about 3-4 hours I think. :)
