So I've discovered the phenomenon ACEO. Small collectiblelike pocketsize cards: 2,5 X 3,5 inches(6,25 X 8,75cm) big, or should I say small. ACEO stands for "art card, editions and originals" and there are many people out there who collect and trade them.

I guess you guys have already heard of them? (I'm so lost )

Anyways, since they are so small, and thus easy to ship, I was wondering if any of you guys would perhaps be interested in one if I put one out for auction on ebay?

Just asking to see how popular they are, no obligations of course.

So I've decided to hold a little contest since my birthday is coming up the 30th of january. And this is how it goes:


Info: So in order to participate in this contest you will need to draw a dragon and it has to be flying. Why? Because way too few people actually draw a dragon in flight. I wanna see more of that and this contest is good for that. It also has to be in color. What medium is up to you, and if you don't want to you don't have to have a background(but you will probably have a better shot at winning if you do)

So, Dragon - in flight - colored. That's the requirements.

I will be judging the entries by five things :
1. Overall feeling of the picture
2. Creativity
3. Skill
4. Anatomy of the dragon
5. Coloring.

I will distribute points from 1-10 to the entry for each of these five (giving a maximum point of 50). And the picture with the most points will win. (This to ensure I don't just choose the one I "like" the most) In case of two or more entries with the same points I will also take the background into consideration.


Deadline: 30th of january 2008(my birthday of course )


Prizes: 1st place: One month subscription and a free commission(worth about 60USD)

2nd Place: One free commission (worth about 40USD)

3rd Place: One free sketch (worth about 20USD)

(The prizes can change depending on how many entries I get.)
